Now this is one sentiment I can surely get behind, “be happy”! Big fat YES to that and even the color is cheerful. Not just things that will sit in my closet and not get to see the light of day.
NEW TARGET OUTFIT IDEAS FOR FALL
The color on this one is oh so good with it’s pale sagey green color they call ‘olive’. And the fabric is so very soft feeling against your skin and the cut is perfectly modern with the shape, stitching and front pockets. And of course, you can add jeans when the weather permits. A lace trim cami is all the rage for the femininity it adds to your outfit. Are you ready to break out the plaid yet?! A great way to get you there now is with this short sleeve, front tie style top.
I feel like I need to apologize to this darling peasant blouse for not steaming her and letting her really shine. She’s probably really embarrassed right now and cursing me under her breath. The rose pink color is universally flattering and I’m crazy for the feminine detail at the chest with the lace and crochet.

Typically this is a celebration where everyone gets together and takes photos with the birthday girl along a super cute decorated background. There’s something about a zebra dress that takes me right back to my Justice days. With an early 2000s revival sweeping the nation, it’s no surprise that this spunky print is making a comeback. Thankfully, they’re toning it down a bit this time around, sticking to just the neutrals. The best way to show your patriotic spirit is by dressing in red, white and blue. Add a few patriotic theme accessories and you are good to go.
This dress is unlike any other style I’ve owned—there is a black slip dress layered underneath the zebra piece. The zebra piece acts as a mesh overlay, buttoning up the entire way. The material gathers throughout in a super unique way and to synch the waist, I popped on a gold ring belt. If you plan to spend the day at the beach or on the water at the lake, a cute swimsuit and cover up may be all the outfit you need. Bring along some flip flops that will hold up to getting wet, your sunnies and a hat.

Target has tons of great basic pieces that are perfect worn on their own now, or layering with later to add interest to your outfit and keep you warm. I got a few everyday tees, tanks, and several fun graphic tees. Let’s be real; most of my days you can catch me cozied up in some loungewear. You simply cannot go wrong with black on black. I have this tee in several colors now and it’s one of my favorites. With a longer crop and a modest neckline, this piece can be styled so many different ways.
This cami is the same style as the one I showed you above in black, but in a floral pattern. There’s so many ways to style it, dressing it up or down. I was even impressed with the shoe selection at Target. The only problem with their shoe department is that the popular styles tend to sell out very quickly. This heeled mule was really well made, a gorgeous cognac color and definitely on trend with the mule style and wooden block heel. They are really comfortable with lots of cushion inside.
It’s the month where fall officially arrives and it makes me so happy. I have another try-on session for you today and it features new fall arrivals at Target. In fact, the tops are all from Target paired with my favorite high waisted 90’s jeans from J.Crew. These jeans are literally the most comfortable jeans you’ll wear this season and they fit true to size.
So I knew I needed to go in and do a try on haul for you. I picked up a few things at Target and wanted to share plus give a little outfit idea for each. You may have seen my Reel last night HERE with all of this.
